\n\tOne question ruled last weekend\u2019s cultural conversation: Am I the Drama?<\/em> <\/p>\n

\n\tDoubling as the title of Cardi B<\/a>\u2018s sophomore studio album, which finally arrived on Sept. 19 after a seven-year wait, Am I the Drama?<\/em> dominated the weekend thanks to jaw-dropping disses (\u201cMagnet\u201d and \u201cPretty & Petty\u201d), new music videos (the Kehlani<\/a>-assisted \u201cSafe\u201d) and a packed promo run that brought the BX rap queen across the country on a mini meet-and-greet tour. Notably, Drama<\/em> earned a RIAA Platinum certification on release day<\/a> thanks to the pre-release consumption of the Hot 100 No. 1 hits \u201cWAP\u201d (with Megan Thee Stallion<\/a>) and \u201cUp,\u201d which close the 23-track album. Also including the pre-singles \u201cOutside\u201d and \u201cImaginary Playerz,\u201d Cardi\u2019s new set looks poised to make a big debut, following in the footsteps of her Billboard 200-topping debut LP, 2018\u2019s Invasion of Privacy<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the R&B side of things, Brandy<\/a> put a special spin on Kehlani<\/a>\u2018s buzzy hit \u201cFolded,\u201d which recently became the highest-charting solo song of her career on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> (No. 34, chart dated Sept. 20). Although Brandy\u2019s remix is still MIA on streaming platforms, fans may be able to hear version of \u201cFolded\u201d on The Boy Is Mine Tour<\/a>, which she\u2019ll co-headline alongside Monica<\/a> this fall. The 24-city trek will visit major arenas across the U.S. and feature special guests Kelly Rowland<\/a>, Muni Long<\/a>, Coco Jones<\/a> and American Idol<\/em> season 23 winner Jamal Roberts.<\/p>\n
