Thomas Rhett <\/a>is rolling into album release week for About A Woman (Deluxe)<\/em> with a brand-new single that\u2019s already taking over the airwaves. After going for adds on September 22, \u201cAin\u2019t A Bad Life\u201d<\/a> featuring Jordan Davis <\/a>became the most added song on country radio this week.<\/p>\n The song, penned by Rhett with John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Blake Pendergrass and Mark Trussell, was released in July as part of the second addition to\u00a0About A Woman<\/em>. The deluxe edition of the project is set to drop Friday, Sept. 26.<\/p>\n While speaking to Country Now<\/em>, Rhett noted that \u201cAin\u2019t A Bad Life\u201d was one of the first songs that came to life when he started writing for his latest project. It all started with the line, \u201cI didn\u2019t win the lotto, but the dawgs won\u201d and from there, it blossomed into a story about gratitude for what you\u2019ve been given in life.<\/p>\n Rhett shined a light on his and Davis\u2019 tight-knit friendship that\u2019s rooted in family life, shared hobbies and a mutual respect for each other\u2019s artistry. That genuine bond translates seamlessly into their collaboration, making the track feel like two friends swapping stories.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Jordan have just become really, really close over the last year, whether that\u2019s through having a bunch of kids\u00a0or we duck hunt together, we see each other a lot,\u201d Rhett explained. \u201cThis song just sounded like a Jordan song to me.
