Jon Bon Jovi is a one proud grandfather.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s crazy, but great. Wonderful,\u201d said Bon Jovi to podcaster Bunnie Xo in a “Dumb Blonde<\/a>” interview posted on Sept. 21 about his new family addition. \u201cThey adopted a girl, we met the baby obviously and immediately that becomes your grandchild, you know what I mean? Your baby.\u201d<\/p>\n They are Jake Bongiovi, son of Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi of Sayreville, and wife Mille Bobby Brown of \u201cStanger Things\u201d fame, who announced the adoption of a baby girl on Aug. 21.<\/p>\n The baby is Jon and Dorothea’s first grandchild but a second is one the way, Bon Jovi said. Eldest son Jesse Bongiovi, 30, and wife Jesse Light are expecting their first child. Jon and Jesse are collaborators on Hampton Water Wine. Jon and Dorothea\u2019s other children are Stephanie Rose, 32, and Romeo, 21.<\/p>\n Jake Bongiovi, Millie Bobby Brown, Dorothea Hurley and Jon Bon Jovi attend the “Damsel” world premiere at The Plaza on March 1, 2024, in New York City.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s beautiful. I want to see pictures, like, every other day,\u201d said Bon Jovi of his first grandkid. \u201cI\u2019m that pain in the butt guy already and, yeah, it\u2019s cool.\u201d<\/p>\n The rocker was OK with Jake, 23, and Millie, 21, marrying young.<\/p>\n \u201cThey got married very young but we blessed it because we get it, you know?\u201d said Bon Jovi, who married Dorothea in 1989 at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. \u201cThey\u2019re sort of mature beyond their years. She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young.\u201d<\/p>\n Brown and Bongiovi live in Georgia.
