Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em>\u00a0is pausing production for a week after\u00a0Tom Holland was injured<\/a>\u00a0on the set last Friday.<\/p>\n As\u00a0Rolling Stone\u00a0<\/em>previously confirmed, the actor suffered a mild concussion and took a break from filming out of an abundance of caution. However, on Monday, a\u00a0source told\u00a0Variety<\/em><\/a> that production will pause for a week and that shooting is set to continue on Sept. 29, while the film\u2019s July 31, 2026, release date will not be impacted.<\/p>\n A rep for Holland did not immediately return\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> will be the fourth edition in the franchise, and while Jon Watts directed Holland in the previous three Spider-Man<\/em> films, the upcoming movie is being helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man<\/em>. It\u2019s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow.
