Tori Spelling<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is opening up about her experience dating infamous Hollywood bad boy, Charlie Sheen<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As Sheen\u2019s life is put under the spotlight thanks to his new book<\/span><\/a>, The Life of Sheen: A Memoir<\/i>, and his Netflix documentary<\/span><\/a>, aka Charlie Sheen<\/i>, Spelling decided to recall the time she went on a date with the actor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a time that [my friend and dentist] Kevin<\/strong> was friends with him when they were both trying to be sober, and Kevin said, \u2018Charlie wants to ask you on a date,\u2019\u201d Spelling, 52, claimed on the Monday, September 22, episode of iHeartRadio\u2019s \u201cmissSPELLING\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI was nervous and didn\u2019t want to go alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a story only Spelling could tell, the <\/i>Beverly Hills, 90210<\/i><\/span><\/a> alum recalled going to an Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills with Sheen, 60, and a few special guests.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSince starring on Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 to 2000, Tori Spelling has found herself in the public eye quite often \u2014 especially when it comes to her love life. While on the show, Spelling had a brief romance with costar Brian Austin Green. \u201cI fell head over heels in love with Brian Green,\u201d she [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c[Kevin\u2019s] like, \u2018Well, I\u2019m going out to dinner with my parents,\u2019 and Charlie and I both knew his parents,\u201d Spelling said. \u201cSo it was Kevin\u2019s parents, me, Kevin and Charlie and we went out to dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n

While sparks didn\u2019t exactly fly, Spelling said she quickly realized that Sheen is\u201cunimaginably intelligent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOff the charts,\u201d she continued of his intellect. \u201cAnd his humor! Talk about charming, smart, funny, witty. This guy was it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While nothing substantial came of the meet-up, Spelling went on to address a story in The Life of Sheen<\/i>.<\/p>\n

According to Sheen, he needed to hide from the authorities after a legal situation. Unfortunately for him, Spelling wasn\u2019t willing to help.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m standing in my laundry room and Kevin comes in and says, \u2018T, I need to ask you a favor. Can we hide Charlie?\u2019\u201d Spelling claimed on her podcast. \u201cThis was bad news. They\u2019re actively searching for him, like, in helicopters. What if I were to hide him?\u201d<\/p>\n

Spelling said she put her foot down and said no. Sheen later wrote in his book, \u201cCouldn\u2019t blame her, I suppose. But man, who knows what story I\u2019d be banging out right now if the heir to Daddy\u2019s throne said, \u2018Yes.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
