Online<\/a><\/p>\n For Alix Earle<\/strong><\/a>, dipping her toes in the Dancing With the Stars<\/a> world came at a price.<\/p>\n The influencer\u2014who\u2019s partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong> for season 34\u2014detailed the recent injuries she sustained while rehearsing for the ABC ballroom competition show.<\/p>\n “I have bruises on my collarbones,” Alix said in a TikTok<\/a> video shared Sept. 21. “My toenail came off during practice today.”<\/p>\n The 24-year-old then pointed at one of her knees. “This is like one big, swollen bruise,” she said. “It’s so swollen. I don’t think I can walk.”<\/p>\n While Alix\u2014who scored 13 out of 20 points during the Sept. 16 premiere\u2014found her first week on DWTS difficult, she continues to challenge herself physically.<\/p>\n “I thought week one was hard,” she said of her Cha-Cha to “Circus” by Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a>. “There’s some tricks and things that I just can’t do, but I’m like, ‘Oh, I’ll do it. I’m gonna work and get it by next Tuesday.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n On the premiere, Alix danced a fiery Cha-Cha to Britney Spears<\/strong>‘ “Circus” with partner Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong>. The two received 13 out of a possible 20 points, tying for third place on the episode with duo Lauren Jauregui<\/strong> and Brandon Armstrong<\/strong>. None of the 14 dance couples were eliminated.<\/p>\n On Dancing With the Stars’ upcoming double-elimination show, which airs Sept. 23, contestants will perform dances to one-hit wonders<\/a>.
