One thing is for sure: there is a lot more to her backstory than Weapons lets on. If you&#8217;re hoping to learn more, you&#8217;re in luck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There were rumors of an Aunt Gladys prequel that surfaced after Weapons&#8217; success, and now, Cregger has confirmed it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIt is real and I\u2019ve been talking to Warner Bros. about it,&#8221; Cregger said in an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fangoria.com\/weapons-streaming-release-zach-cregger-interview\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Fangoria;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Fangoria<\/a>. &#8220;There\u2019s a story and I\u2019m pretty excited about it. Plus, Cregger has proven to be a very creative storyteller.
