After seven years away, Ryan Paevey<\/a><\/strong> (Nathan) made his General Hospital<\/em> return in true soap fashion.<\/p>\n Nathan died when Paevey opted to leave the ABC soap<\/a> in 2018. Nathan was a Port Charles police detective working alongside Dante (Dominic Zamprogna<\/strong>) and Anna (Finola Hughes<\/strong>).<\/p>\n It didn\u2019t take long for Nathan\u2019s family to pop up on General Hospital. <\/em>Fans were led to believe that Nathan was Nina\u2019s (then Michelle Stafford<\/strong>) brother, and their mother was Madeline Reeves (Donnal Mills<\/strong>).<\/p>\n In true soap fashion, Nathan\u2019s life was turned upside down when he learned that Madeline\u2019s sister, Liesl (Kathleen Gati)<\/strong>, was his biological mother. Liesl gave Nathan to Madeline to keep him safe from his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove<\/strong>).<\/p>\n During his time on General Hospital,<\/em> Nathan became one of Maxie\u2019s great loves. The chemistry between Paevey and Storms was off the charts, making Maxie and Nathan a fan favorite couple.<\/p>\n They were wed in a beautiful Metro Court wedding one year before Nathan died. James (Gary James Fuller)<\/strong> is their son and was born after Nathan’s shocking death.<\/p>\n Nathan was shot and killed by his father, Fasion, as he tried to save Maxie and his brother, Peter (Wes Ramsey<\/strong>). Losing Nathan rocked Port Charles, but not as much as his possible return.<\/p>\n Hot on the heels of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud<\/strong>) returning from the dead and shocking Port Charles, comes a Nathan look-alike. In an interview with TV Insider,<\/a><\/em> Paevey confirmed he does have scenes coming up with Britt.<\/p>\n The actor didn\u2019t reveal if he\u2019s really Nathan, an evil twin, or someone else wearing a Nathan mask. Paevey did give fans something to think about, though: \u201cThis go-round is definitely going to be wildly different than the last one. We\u2019ve got some fun stuff planned. We\u2019re going to stir the pot. I wouldn\u2019t come back for something vanilla.
