The actress addressed her frustration over the situation in a Substack post.<\/p>\n In her recent Substack post<\/a>, Jessie Cave revealed that organizers barred her from a recent Harry Potter fan convention. The reason was her OnlyFans account. She wrote that the event organizers cited the platform as being associated with adult content.<\/p>\n \u201cI found out that I didn\u2019t get booked for a Harry Potter convention recently, as I\u2019m now doing OnlyFans,\u201d Cave wrote in the post. \u201cThey explained it was because it\u2019s a \u2018family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn,\u2019\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n \u201cThis was baffling to me, as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they\u2019ve done sex scenes and nudity,\u201d Cave wrote, pointing out the inconsistency in the industry. \u201cI\u2019m just playing with my hair!\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n \u201cI am not upset about the prospect of no more Harry Potter conventions.\u201d Cave shared. \u201cThere\u2019s going to be a new cast now and it\u2019s a different time,\u201d she wrote, referring to the upcoming Harry Potter series.<\/p>\n \u201cPlus, I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia.\u201d She further added. \u201cThe money I got from signing photos of my face was the only real money I made. I am very lucky I got to do them,\u201d recounting all the happy experiences.<\/p>\n She concluded by saying, \u201cIt\u2019s time to move on and play some new characters.\u201d<\/p>\n Jessie Cave portrayed Lavender Brown in the later films of the Harry Potter movie series, starting with Half-Blood Prince (2009).
