Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> accused former America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em><\/a> contestant Jenn An<\/strong><\/a> of trying to silence him with a lawsuit over a 2010 alleged sexual assault on set, Us Weekly<\/em> can exclusively report.<\/p>\n

On August 19, West, 48, filed court docs seeking to dismiss An\u2019s lawsuit, filed in November 2024, over an alleged incident while filming a 2010 music video.<\/p>\n

The musician\u2019s lawyer called out An for including information in her lawsuit about West\u2019s recent \u201cantisemitic messages\u201d on X, touting Hitler, as well as numerous messages where he disregarded survivors of sexual assault.\u201d<\/p>\n

West\u2019s lawyer told the court, \u201cThese alleged quotations bear no relevance to the claims in this case and are presented without meaningful context. Their inclusion should be considered as facts to support arguments regarding [An\u2019s] motive to bring this lawsuit \u2014 to silence [West] for his controversial speech on matters of public concern.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the filing, the \u201cFlashing Lights\u201d rapper\u2019s lawyer argued that the production of the music video, \u201clike many thousands of stage performances and motion pictures before it, included physical touching between the actors (here, West and [An]).\u201d<\/p>\n

The attorney continued, \u201cAt no point during the production did [An] object to her role, express a lack of consent to participate, nor attempt to leave the performance, nor does she claim such in her [lawsuit].\u201d<\/p>\n

West points out that the alleged assault took place in front of a crew and cameras. \u201cTo permit such claims to proceed would mean that every actor, director, and artist involved in provocative film, theater, or music video productions \u2014 whether depicting violence, sexuality, or both \u2014 could face retroactive criminalization and personal liability whenever a performer later regrets or reimagines their participation,\u201d the rapper\u2019s response read.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKanye West\u2019s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta recently amended her 2024 lawsuit against the rapper, accusing him of sexual assault and battery. Pisciotta originally filed a sexual harassment and wrongful termination suit against West, 48, in June 2024. In her amended complaint filed earlier this week and obtained by Us Weekly, Pisciotta is also accusing West [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In his filing, West accused An, who starred on season 13 of Tyra Banks<\/strong>\u2019 former reality show America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em> in 2009, of attempting to \u201cpunish his creative process and censor his art.\u201d<\/p>\n

West demanded that the suit be thrown out of court.<\/p>\n

An\u2019s lawyer, Jesse Weinstein<\/strong>, tells Us<\/em>, \u201cWhile Ye is certainly entitled to defend himself in this suit, we refuse to adopt his idea that sexually assaulting Ms. An was somehow justified as \u201cart.\u201d This was an unscripted moment that he took it upon himself to create, much to the dismay and shock of nearly everyone around him. He has clearly convinced himself that he is above the law and we will take him to task in this matter through the litigation process.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her suit, An explained she was hired as a background actor\/model for singer La Roux\u2019<\/strong>s music video for her song \u201cIn for the Kill.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKanye West is under investigation after a confrontation with a woman who was filming him. A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to E! News on Friday, January 27 that the rapper, 45, is under investigation for battery allegations. They received a call on Friday about an altercation between the \u201cPower\u201d performer and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

West appeared on the remix and filmed a music video for the track in September 2010. An claimed West wanted the set to look like the film American Psycho<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The suit claimed West took over directing the video. An claimed West told her to sit in a chair. She said he instructed the cameraman to film while he choked her with one hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe then wrapped his other hand around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands,\u201d the suit alleged. \u201cWest smothered [An\u2019s] face with both of his hands, which smeared her makeup.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe then rammed several fingers down her throat, continuously moved them in and out and gagged her (which [An] believed lasted for over a minute) to emulate forced oral sex and screamed, \u2018This is art. This is fucking art. I am like Picasso.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

She said a third party on set \u201cfailed to intervene to stop the sexual assault, but instead yelled, \u2018Yeah [An]!\u2019 as if she were watching a sporting event.\u201d<\/p>\n

The suit claimed West\u2019s actions \u201cparalleled the recorded sexual assault scenes depicted in American Psycho, as well as pornographic\u2019 fetish films.\u201d<\/p>\n
