Celt left Eglwyswrw in 2008. He died in 2021 and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tivysideadvertiser.co.uk\/news\/19655927.drum-horse-celt-returns-final-resting-place-eglwyswrw\/?ref=ed_direct\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:is now buried at the farm where he was born.;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">is now buried at the farm where he was born.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Apollo arrived at the farm as a yearling in 2015.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><span class=\"inline-image-caption\"><em>(Image: Western Telegraph)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He left for London in 2019 and has since taken part in the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III as well as Trooping the Colour Parades.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He has made history as the only shire horse to have performed at HM The Queen&#8217;s Platinum Jubilee and final Trooping the Colour last June, at her\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westerntelegraph.co.uk\/news\/22312780.dyfed-shire-horse-farms-ed-plays-key-role-queens-funeral\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:State Funeral;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><strong>State Funeral<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in September, at\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westerntelegraph.co.uk\/news\/23492428.dyfed-shire-horse-farms-major-apollo-kings-coronation-parade\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:King Charles III's Coronation;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><strong>King Charles III&#8217;s Coronation<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in May and now at the first King&#8217;s Trooping the Colour since 1951.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><span class=\"inline-image-caption\"><em>(Image: Western Telegraph)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Juno was born on the farm in 2013, a fourth-generation member of the Dyfed bloodline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">She has made history as <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.westerntelegraph.co.uk\/news\/23598302.history-made-dyfed-shire-horse-farm-trooping-colour\/?ref=ed_direct\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:the first mare ever to carry drums in the Royal Household Cavalry;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">the first mare ever to carry drums in the Royal Household Cavalry<\/a>, in a history that goes back to the reign of King Charles II and the restoration of the 1660s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">She has since participated in three consecutive Trooping the Colour Parades leading one as well as taking the head of the regiment\u2019s parade during the state visit of The Emperor and Empress of Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><span class=\"inline-image-caption\"><em>(Image: Western Telegraph)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Juno <span>immortalised in sculpture<\/span> earlier this year when award-winning sculptor Zoe Carmichael cast her in bronze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There was delight at the chance to see both horses at their home farm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Mark Cole, of the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cWe have had really good crowds and good hwyl, it\u2019s gone really well. It\u2019s great to have them both here, Willa and Ed on the farm where they both grew up and where Willa was born.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><span class=\"inline-image-caption\"><em>(Image: Western Telegraph)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIt\u2019s lovely to have them home, just to see them and lovely for our regulars and visitors to see then here again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cEd looks like a rock star and is loving all the attention.
