According to Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>\u2018s Sal \u201cCousin Sal\u201d Iacono, there\u2019s more drama to come in the late-night host\u2019s suspension drama with Disney and ABC.<\/p>\n \u201cShould be an interesting week ahead. We\u2019ll see how it goes,\u201d Bill Simmons<\/a> told Iacono on the Monday, September 22, episode of his podcast<\/a>. Iacono \u2014 Kimmel\u2019s real-life relative known for his hilarious appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a> \u2014 replied, \u201cI wish I could say anything. There are a couple of bombshells still there. So, I\u2019m feeling good. We\u2019re going to be all right. Everything\u2019s gonna be just fine.\u201d<\/p>\n Simmons agreed, stating that was \u201cnot betting against\u201d Kimmel. \u201cHe\u2019ll be fine. Whatever he wants to do. Hey, listen, he might just want to be a pop-up chef. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive,\u201d the company told Variety<\/a> in a statement. \u201cWe have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.\u201d<\/p>\n On Simmons\u2019 podcast, Iacono recalled how his kids felt \u201cweird\u201d about discussing the suspension with Kimmel. \u201cMy middle guy, Jack, who was a junior in high school, breaks the ice and says in his deadpan way says, \u2018Hey, some kids at school say it\u2019s not right what happened to you.\u2019 And then just leaves it there,\u201d he shared. \u201cAnd so, Jimmy says, \u2018Well, what did you say? He\u2019s like, \u2018I said, yeah, I think you\u2019re right.’\u201d<\/p>\n Sharing Kimmel\u2019s response, Iacono added, \u201cJimmy\u2019s like, \u2018Well, next time tell them, I\u2019m not too worried about what happens. My cousin Jimmy is an excellent dancer.\u2019 And Jack was stone faced taking it in and nodded like, \u2018Okay.\u2019 And I guarantee, tomorrow, he\u2019s going to take this literally and say this to high schoolers. There\u2019s no doubt about it. I guarantee it.\u201d<\/p>\n
