\u201cBaywatch<\/a>\u201d is back. Fox has officially given a straight-to-series order for a reboot of the legendary lifeguard series to air during the 2026-2027 broadcast season.<\/p>\n

Fox Entertainment<\/a> and Fremantle<\/a> are co-producing the reboot, which has been given a 12-episode order. Matt Nix<\/a> will serve as showrunner and executive producer, with Michael Berk<\/a>, Greg Bonann<\/a>, Dante Di Loreto<\/a>, and Doug Schwartz<\/a> also executive producing. Berk<\/a>, Bonnan, and Schwartz<\/a> were the creators of the original series.<\/p>\n
