Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> is coming back \u2014 and he will be bigger than ever, Joe Rogan<\/strong> predicts.<\/p>\n The podcast star, on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience<\/em> on Tuesday, said he believes the briefly-exiled late-night host will have a huge audience when he returns to Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n \u201cFor Jimmy Kimmel, all this does is help him. It makes his show bigger, much more support,\u201d Rogan said.<\/p>\n Rogan added he\u2019s \u201csure there\u2019s a lot of hate, as well, which isn\u2019t fun,\u201d but that it is outweighed by the publicity Kimmel has received over the last week.<\/p>\n For those who have missed it, ABC and Disney suspended Kimmel on Sept. 17 for claiming the man who killed Charlie Kirk<\/strong> was a supporter of President Donald Trump<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,\u201d Kimmel said on his Sept. 15 show.<\/p>\n The comment led to swift pushback from Nexstar and Sinclair, which control a large chunk of TV affiliates, and FCC Chair Brendan Carr<\/strong>\u00a0on Sept. 17 said he felt\u00a0Kimmel\u2019s comment warranted a suspension<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hours later, Kimmel was suspended \u2014 leading to some critics saying ABC and Disney caved to President Trump\u2019s administration; White House Press Secretary\u00a0Karoline Leavitt<\/strong>\u00a0denied the president put \u201cpressure\u201d on<\/a> ABC to suspend Kimmel.<\/p>\n Following all of that, ABC announced on Monday it was lifting Kimmel\u2019s suspension<\/a> after four days.<\/p>\n Kimmel is going to have a tough time living up to Rogan\u2019s prediction, though, considering Nexstar and Sinclair \u2014 which control nearly one-quarter of the ABC affiliates nationally \u2014 both said they will not air Kimmel<\/a> when he returns on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n Rogan, on his Tuesday episode \u2014 which appeared to be recorded before the news broke the night before that Kimmel would return \u2014 said he predicted the comedian, ABC, and lawyers would work out a way for Kimmel to resume hosting the program he has led since 2003.<\/p>\n \u201cHe comes back to a standing ovation, Donald Trump tweets mean sh*t about him, and then the world moves on,\u201d Rogan joked.<\/p>\n He then told his guest, comedian Andrew Santino<\/strong>, that it was \u201cf*cking insane\u201d that President Trump finds the time to share anti-Kimmel posts on social media.<\/p>\n You can watch a clip of Rogan discussing Kimmel above.
