Julianne Hough<\/a><\/strong> might look like she has her life together on Dancing with the Stars<\/a><\/strong>. However, the truth of this matter goes much deeper than anything we\u2019ve ever seen or heard. In fact, the road that led Julianne to her current place of peace was often rocky. But now that this Pro is in a stronger position, she is getting honest with her fans about her less-than-perfect years, which led her to where she is today.<\/p>\n In a recent interview with Dhar Mann, an influencer known for positive and uplifting posts, Julianne described how DWTS changed her life<\/a>. \u201cI ended up doing the show and won my first two seasons back-to-back. It was like a ripple effect. The stars were aligned,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Then, Julianne \u201cended up getting a country music record deal,\u201d which resulted in several awards and even a role in a film with Tom Cruise<\/a>, she recalled. But sadly, \u201cEverything was going, going, going, and then everything fell apart,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n First, Julianne lost her beloved dogs to coyotes in 2019. Then, her marriage \u201cstarted unraveling,\u201d which led to her divorce<\/a>. As this was all happening, \u201cMy career, my friend group, everything that I had known really started taking a different shape. That was very much, like, probably the darkest time,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n Realizing that she was living in a place of stuck, Julianne poured her \u201cenergy into self-care,\u201d and now she is on the flip side<\/a> of her formerly pressing times. Regardless, her healing \u201cwas a process and it was timing,\u201d she explained. As she stressed, \u201cYou can\u2019t rush healing. You can\u2019t rush the time frame that you need to go through to learn a lesson.\u201d<\/p>\n Dancing with the Stars<\/a> airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+.
