STONY BROOK, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 The first-ever Billy Joel exhibit is movin\u2019 out of its home at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n
After opening in November 2023, the \u201cBilly Joel: My Life, A Piano Man\u2019s Journey\u201d exhibit will be leaving after its final day at the Hall of Fame on Oct. 26, the LIMEHOF announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Things To Do Around NYC <\/a><\/p>\n The exhibit takes you through Joel\u2019s half-century career as one of the most famous artists to come out of New York. It\u2019s filled with memorabilia, videos, awards, recordings, instruments and photos. Many of the items were donated by the \u201cPiano Man\u201d himself.<\/p>\n LIMEHOF Chairman Ernie Canadeo said the fans\u2019 support for the exhibit over the last two years has been everything they hoped it be.<\/p>\n \u201cThe response has been overwhelming, and we hope to continue to feature several items from his archives in the future,\u201d Canadeo said.<\/p>\n The exhibit is open from Wednesday to Sunday every week through the end of its run. Time frames are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or 3 p.m. to close.
