Christine Brown<\/strong> remains hopeful that her ex-husband, Kody Brown<\/strong>, will one day mend fences with their children.<\/p>\n

In an interview with People<\/a><\/em>, published on Tuesday, September 23, the reality TV personality, 53 \u2014 who shares children Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel,<\/strong> and Truely<\/strong> with Kody \u2014 believes there is potential for the Brown family patriarch, 56, and their kids to reunite.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s kind of an ongoing story for that. But I do believe that Kody is a good person, and I think that things are going to be better,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cI hope things are going to be better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThings take time. There\u2019s a lot of things that we say about each other that we hear, and it\u2019s just the nature of it,\u201d she admitted. \u201cSo we\u2019ve got some things to work through, I\u2019m sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Throughout the years, Sister Wives<\/em> has documented Kody\u2019s polygamous marriage<\/a> with former wives Christine<\/a>, Janelle,<\/strong> and Meri,<\/strong> as well as his current wife, Robyn<\/strong>. In recent seasons, cameras also captured the TLC star navigating his strained relationships with some of his 18 children, who seemingly took issue with Kody prioritizing his family with Robyn.<\/p>\n

As Star<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, Christine revealed in her new memoir that her daughter Mykelti is no longer in communication with Kody and Robyn.<\/p>\n
