Prince William has reportedly had enough of his scandal-plagued uncle and aunt, urging King Charles III to strip them of royal privileges and even boot them from Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 43-year-old Prince of Wales is believed to be at his wits’ end with the Duke and Duchess of York, whose ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have fuelled years of headlines.<\/p>\n

The final straw, insiders claim, was the leak of a 2011 email Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson sent to Epstein<\/a>, describing him as her “supreme friend” and seemingly apologising for criticising him publicly.<\/p>\n

While Andrew withdrew from royal duties in 2019 in disgrace over his connections to Epstein, the Duchess has largely avoided fallout until now.<\/p>\n

However, the weekend release of the email by The Mail and The Sun has already cost her seven charity patronages<\/a> – and an insider revealed she’s likely to lose much more if William has anything to do with it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, a palace insider told The Mail: “William feels even more strongly than the King that Andrew and Fergie are an embarrassment and will be urging his father to act. The optics of that pair of chancers guffawing away [at events] look terrible.”<\/p>\n

The source suggested the King may “immediately ban” the Yorks from attending family events such as Christmas, with eviction from Royal Lodge also firmly on the table.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales reportedly wants them out “as a minimum”, insisting they should now have to “fend for themselves”.<\/p>\n

“He has his eye on the future of the Royal Family and for the good of the family they must never be seen at events again,” the source added.<\/p>\n

Still, the 76-year-old monarch is said to be less decisive.<\/p>\n

He is weighing the Yorks’ loyalty to the Crown, contrasting it with other royals who’ve taken swipes at the Firm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Charles is also mindful of his late mother’s fondness for Fergie – and her granddaughters Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35.<\/p>\n

But the scandal threatens her income as well as charity ties, raising questions over how the Yorks could afford the upkeep of Royal Lodge- a sprawling, 30-room Windsor estate they’ve lived in rent-free for over two decades despite their 1996 divorce.<\/p>\n

Just days before the email surfaced, Charles, William, Andrew and Fergie were all seen at the funeral of Katherine, Duchess of Kent, at Westminster Cathedral.<\/p>\n

While Charles exchanged words with his younger brother, William remained tight-lipped and stony-faced despite his uncle’s reported overtures<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
