Millions watched as late-night host Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> opened his first show since President Donald Trump\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0administration pressured ABC to suspend him over the\u00a0Charlie Kirk<\/strong> shooting.<\/p>\n The media world was shaken last Wednesday night by the news that ABC had suspended<\/a> Kimmel\u2019s show \u201cindefinitely,\u201d just hours after he was targeted by\u00a0Brendan Carr<\/strong>, President Trump\u2019s hand-picked FCC commissioner.<\/p>\n Kimmel was singled out for a comment he made during a monologue on last Monday\u2019s edition<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n JIMMY KIMMEL: We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n The move drew fierce backlash<\/a> from<\/a> all quarters<\/a>, even as President Trump and his allies openly celebrated<\/a> the suspension \u2014 and looked for mor<\/a>e. Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who\u2019s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE.
