Evanescence<\/strong><\/a> is hard at work on their next chapter \u2014 and according to frontwoman Amy Lee<\/strong>, fans won\u2019t have to wait too long.<\/p>\n During the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, the band\u2019s frontwoman spoke with ALT 105.1<\/a> about where they stand creatively, including some insight on their new album.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re in this kind of in-between phase right now because we were touring our last album, The Bitter Truth<\/em>, for quite a while,\u201d Lee explained, noting that their setlists are now shifting. With a handful of shows on the calendar, the group is mixing classics with a couple of new songs. \u201cI\u2019d say we\u2019re more than halfway,\u201d the 43-year-old revealed of the new record\u2019s progress. \u201cWe\u2019re really getting there. In a chat with KROQ\u2019s Kevin Ryder<\/strong> and Megan Holiday<\/strong>, she described how the group has been working at a feverish pace. \u201cMore of the goodness. We are just full speed ahead, making stuff, putting stuff out, doing stuff on the side,\u201d she said, noting that the band isn\u2019t tied down by strict deadlines. \u201cI don\u2019t have a date. I don\u2019t like to set a date until it\u2019s really done.\u201d\u00a0In 2003, Evanescence\u2019s debut album Fallen<\/em> changed the rock landscape.
