As several fans remembered, the Oslo renditions doubled as a political statement: anti-whaling footage reportedly played on a screen during the song, in protest of Norway\u2019s whaling policy.<\/p>\n The only other time \u201cMarooned\u201d surfaced onstage came 21 years ago today \u2014 September 24, 2004 \u2014 when Pink Floyd and guitarist David Gilmour<\/strong> performed it at The Strat Pack, a star-studded concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster.
