ALLENTOWN, Pa. \u2014 A new style of baseball that lit up Coca-Cola Park in May will have the stadium all aglow again next year, the IronPigs organization has announced.<\/p>\n
Cosmic baseball \u2014 a baseball game played under black lights with a glowing ball, bats, bases and even uniforms \u2014 will return to the stadium, it was announced.<\/p>\n

The Tri-City Chili Peppers, a college summer team from Colonial Heights, Virginia, that plays in the Coastal Plain League, will take on the Glow Mojis at a date to be announced, according to a release.<\/p>\n
But a lottery on the Chili Peppers website<\/a> has opened to guarantee tickets.<\/p>\n
Prices have not been announced, but in May, all tickets are $35 and sold as general admission, then could be converted to reserved seats before the event. <\/p>\n
‘Electrifying entertainment’<\/h2>\n
In Cosmic Baseball, players take the field under what is described as the world\u2019s only stadium-grade black lights for “a jaw-dropping spectacle that\u2019s part baseball, part neon-fueled party and 100% unforgettable.”<\/p>\n
There are neon uniforms, UV-reactive baseballs and “electrifying entertainment,” according to a release. <\/p>\n
Coca-Cola Park will be among many stops for Cosmic Baseball in 2026, according to the release.<\/p>\n
The Chili Peppers Baseball Organization created the Cosmic experience during summer 2024.<\/p>\n
Major League Baseball says it’s believed to be the first organized sporting event to be played entirely under black lights.<\/p>\n
A national tour was created after the game spurred a wait list of more than 50,000 in two months after media attention from celebrity.land, FOX News, ABC, the “Today” show, ESPN, MLB Network, TBS Television Japan and more.<\/p>\n
