Marvin Jones III<\/a> is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadline reports that the Black Lightning actor has been cast as Tombstone<\/a> in Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>. Marvel and Sony<\/a> have not released an official statement on the casting yet.<\/p>\n

Jones already has history with the character. He voiced Tombstone in the animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse<\/a> and will do so again in the upcoming Beyond the Spider-Verse. Now, he will also play the villain in live action.<\/p>\n

Tombstone, whose real name is Lonnie Lincoln, is a longtime foe of Spider-Man<\/a> in the comics. He was first introduced in 1988 and is known for his pale skin, tall frame, and cold demeanor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
