The Man on how they wrote their runaway hit \u2018Feel It Still\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new music marks the latest in a busy year for the Portland-based band, who have so far surprised fans with the release of the \u2018uLu Selects Vol. 2\u2019 EP and recent single \u2018Denali\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Today (September 24), they shared news of the highly anticipated album \u2018Shish\u2019, which is set to arrive on November 7 via KNIK, the band\u2019s imprint on Thirty Tigers. You can pre-order\/pre-save <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/portugaltheman.ffm.to\/shish\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the announcement, they\u2019ve shared two of the album\u2019s singles, \u2018Tanana\u2019 and \u2018Mush\u2019. Speaking about the newly shared songs, frontman John Gourley said: \u201c\u2018Mush\u2019 is survival, connection, and ambition. Rural life with moments of danger and absurdity, like dirt bikes, smokers, gunfire, and video games.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe repeated line \u2018we can be family\u2019 pushes against isolation, reaching for something solid. The Man have also announced their headline European and UK Headline Tour dates that will take them across the pond for a month-long tour in spring next year.
