It is responsible for launching the first <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/afrotech.com\/mackenzie-scott\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HBCU<\/a> Esports League, in partnership with Amazon\u2019s Twitch, which garnered over 53 million live views and led to more than $2 million in scholarships, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/christopher-peay-448b2981\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to<\/a> information shared on Cxmmunity Media CMO and co-founder Chris Peay\u2019s LinkedIn.<\/p>\n<p>Building on its momentum, Cxmmunity Media has received a six-figure strategic <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/afrotech.com\/a-look-into-julius-ervings-portfolio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">investment<\/a> to support its philanthropic arm, which is \u201cdedicated to increasing access and long-term opportunities for emerging talent to enter the gaming, esports, and digital entertainment industries,\u201d Variety <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/gaming\/news\/live-nation-urban-investment-cxmmunity-media-1236526940\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports.<\/a> Live Nation Urban is responsible for the funding, delivered through its partner company\u2019s Black Lily Capital Investment Fund, intended to support Black entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with Cxmmunity represents a commitment to the future of next-generation media,\u201d<br \/>Live Nation Urban President Shawn Gee said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe leadership team has created a scalable business model at the crossroads of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/afrotech.com\/global-gaming-league-raises-10m-future-3b-gamers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaming,<\/a> technology, and culture, led by visionary founders who are pushing the industry forward.
