On Wednesday in Worcester, Morgan came across another horde \u2014 a horde of fans wanting his selfie.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of Worcester!\u201d Morgan shouted, taking picture after picture in rapid-fire succession.<\/p>\n
The actor was in Worcester on Wednesday for filming of the third season of The Walking Dead spinoff \u201cThe Walking Dead: Dead City.\u201d Production began on Monday, with the crew moving to a different street each day.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, the team filmed scenes on Mechanic and Norwich streets. The street was changed to resemble New York City in a post-apocalyptic world. Trash and leaves were scattered across the ground, buildings were covered in boards with graffiti and smoke swirled in the air. A zombie could be heard growling behind strips of yellow caution tape. With the dark grey sky, it looked as if doomsday had come to Worcester.<\/p>\n
The mood among the crowd watching the production, however, was anything but gloomy.<\/p>\n
Bystanders gathered on Norwich Street to catch a glimpse of Morgan, with some standing on their toes to take photos and videos with their phones.<\/p>\n
As Morgan walked towards the crowd, cheers and applause erupted. One by one, phone by phone, Morgan took pictures with everyone, even with infants.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was very handsome,\u201d said Rena Skloot. \u201cI feel very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
This was not the first time \u201cThe Walking Dead: Dead City\u201d was filmed in Worcester. Production for the second season was filmed last year<\/a> in the Heart of the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n Vishwas Hegde, a Worcester resident, said that he hadn\u2019t seen the series before but noted that it was good that films and television shows are being filmed in Worcester.<\/p>\n He hopes that one of his favorite shows, \u201cPeacemaker,\u201d films in Worcester at some point.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to see John Cena here shooting some shots,\u201d Hegde said.<\/p>\n Read the original article on MassLive<\/a>.
