Somehow, Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice have turned Creep into one of the most interesting horror franchises around. The first film was literally made for almost no money at all, but quickly gained a huge cult following thanks to Duplass’ completely unhinged performance.<\/p>\n

Creep 2 is arguably even better and is one of the very rare films to hold 100% on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>. Last year, Duplass surprisingly dropped The Creep Tapes on Shudder, which took the general idea of the movies but essentially created six short films.<\/p>\n

Luckily for fans of the franchise, it was successful enough to get renewed for a second season. Shudder announced that Season 2 of The Creep Tapes will drop on November 14. They also announced that David Dastmalchian, Katie Aselton and Robert Longstreet are among the guest stars.<\/p>\n

Dastmalchian is starting to become one of the big names in horror due to his turn in Late Night With the Devil. Longstreet is also a big name in horror, as he starred in The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep and Halloween Kills.<\/p>\n

While I’m really excited to see those actors in the Creep universe, I’m most excited to see Aselton. She’s been married to Duplass for almost two decades, and the two acted together in the FX show The League.<\/p>\n

Considering how weird and zany Duplass’ character is in Creep, it’ll be really fun to see how Aselton plays off of him.<\/p>\n
