Hispanic Heritage Celebration<\/strong>, 5-9 p.m. Saturday at the River Market Pavilions, 400 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. The celebration will feature \u201cthe rhythms, flavors, and artistry of Little Rock\u2019s Hispanic community,\u201d through traditional dances representing Latin American countries; a mariachi band accompanied by dancing horses; salsa lessons; food trucks serving authentic food and drink; and artisan vendors selling handcrafted goods and \u201ccultural keepsakes,\u201d according to a news release. Ninth St., Little Rock.<\/p>\n<p>For the 55-minute play, Grimes weaves Shakespearean text with modern storytelling. It\u2019s the museum\u2019s first theatrical production specifically recommended for teenage audiences (12-plus).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis piece is not just about war \u2014 it\u2019s about what happens when we don\u2019t create space for healing,\u201d Grimes says in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s about what we carry, what we bury, and what we lift up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Post-performance interactive demonstrations \u201cwill offer a deeper exploration of techniques designed for healing and coping with trauma,\u201d according to museum officials; mental health professionals will participate in additional post-show discussions following every performance.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a dedicated quiet room \u201cfor reflection due to the hard subject matter of the production. Just a place for guests to decompress if needed,\u201d according to a museum spokeswoman.<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free. Main St., Pine Bluff, stages\u00a0\u201cFinding Nemo Jr.\u201d\u00a0(music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, book by Lindsay Anderson, adapted from the 2003 Disney Pixar animated film) 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday; 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; and 3 p.m. Sunday in the center\u2019s Catherine M. Juror Carey Voss, exhibits curator at Little Rock\u2019s Historic Arkansas Museum, selected the artists for inclusion; applications were open to all artists who identify as women and reside in Arkansas. Submissions included paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, contemporary jewelry, textiles, digital media and site-specific installation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong><u>AUDITIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Another crack at \u2018Idol\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmerican Idol\u201d\u00a0has added an additional date \u2014 Monday \u2014 for virtual Arkansas auditions via Zoom. It\u2019s part of its sixth \u201cIdol Across America,\u201d a live virtual nationwide search for the next superstar using \u201ccustom-built Zoom technology,\u201d according to a news release, with audition days in all 50 states and Washington.
