Brooklyn Beckham<\/strong><\/a> spoke out directly for the first time about the months-long feud that has fractured his famous family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beckham, 26, addressed the drama within his family \u2014 which has left him estranged from his parents, David<\/strong> and Victoria<\/strong>, and his younger brothers, Romeo<\/strong> and Cruz<\/strong> \u2014 while competing in the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match on Wednesday, September 24.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is always going to say rubbish,\u201d Brooklyn told the Daily Mail<\/i><\/a>. \u201cI just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It\u2019s good fun.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When asked how he managed to navigate all of the public conversation surrounding his family this year, Brooklyn gave a nod to his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRomeo Beckham\u2019s family showed him love on his birthday, but his brother Brooklyn Beckham was noticeably missing from the festivities. Romeo\u2019s dad, David Beckham, kicked off the tributes on Sunday, August 31, posting a throwback photo via Instagram in honor of his son. \u201cHappy 23rd Birthday to my little boy \ud83e\ude77 you are kind , [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife,\u201d Brooklyn said. \u201cMe and her, we just do our thing. We just keep our heads down and work. And we\u2019re happy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, got married in 2022. The couple renewed their vows on August 2<\/a>, Us Weekly<\/i> exclusively reported at the time. No members of Brooklyn\u2019s immediate family attended the ceremony<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

After competing in the celebrity golf tournament at Farmingdale, New York\u2019s Bethpage Black golf course, Brooklyn said he was high-tailing it back to Los Angeles, where he and Nicola recently purchased a new home<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019I have to go back,\u201d he said. \u201cI left my wife with our four dogs on her own, so I have to go back and help out and get back to work.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023, Brooklyn launched a line of hot sauces called Cloud 23, and he often shows off his cooking skills on Instagram.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the current chaos within his family, Brooklyn insisted he \u201cnever\u201d worries about what people say about his personal life.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Beckham family has been at an impasse since David\u2019s 50th birthday party in May<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooklyn and Nicola chose not to attend the festivities, largely in an effort to avoid interacting with Romeo\u2019s then-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull<\/strong>, a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i>. Brooklyn has not spoken directly to his family since.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In June, a source told Us that David and his wife, Victoria Beckham<\/strong>, \u201cwent from being sad and devastated to now accepting it and realizing there is nothing they can do\u201d when it comes to their relationship with Brooklyn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
