One reason audiences love Slow Horses<\/em><\/a> so much is the fact that the Apple TV+ thriller has come out with a new season every year since debuting two seasons in 2022, and it\u2019s already renewed through season seven. \u201cIt\u2019s a testament to the show, but also how we respect the viewers,\u201d actor Christopher Chung, who portrays Roddy Ho, says. \u201cApple have been so insightful in commissioning so far ahead of anything else and allowing the audience to grow, and allowing the audience to have that loyalty to the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

In recent years, Slow Horses <\/em>has found an ever bigger audience. \u201cThe first and second season were a real slow burn, the people who watched it were really into it and they definitely binged it,\u201d says Chung. \u201cI didn\u2019t expect it to kind of explode the way that it has passed the last two seasons. It\u2019s been really lovely to know that the viewership has grown really organically.\u201d<\/p>\n

That wider viewership makes Chung \u201canxious,\u201d he jokes. \u201cIt just means that there\u2019s more people watching me!\u201d He clarifies, \u201cBut it is lovely. The more people that come up to me on the street and say that how much they love the show, or more likely what I get a lot of the time is people coming up to me saying, \u2018You are such an asshole in that show. I think you\u2019re great!\u2019 Which is really lovely too\u2014and it means that I\u2019m doing my job, but it also means that the viewership is growing and that\u2019s happening more on a regular basis now.\u201d<\/p>\n
