Alien: Earth<\/em> <\/a>has ended its first season with a cliffhanger.<\/p>\n The human-robot hybrids have taken control over their masters, and their leader, Wendy (Sydney Chandler), has designs to take over the world. But will the series get a second season?<\/p>\n So far, FX<\/a> hasn\u2019t given any word on a second season, but fans expect it to get renewed due to its popularity and critical acclaim. Series creator Noah Hawley also expects to continue the story with a new season.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m pretty confident, given the show\u2019s success, that we\u2019ll get to make more,\u201d he told Polygon<\/a>, adding, \u201cThe risk is the reward.\u201d<\/p>\n Chandler also told Polygon that she\u2019s hoping the series is able to return.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m hoping, hoping, hoping we get to go again to see what those dynamics will turn out to be,\u201d she said. \u201cAs Noah said, \u2018Not enough people died in Season 1.\u2019 So if we go to Season 2, it\u2019s happening, which is terrifying. As an actor, you\u2019re like, \u2018Please don\u2019t let it be me.’\u201d<\/p>\n Even though FX hasn\u2019t given its decision yet, chairman John Landgraf talked about the series\u2019 potential in July 2024. People <\/a>reports Landgraf spoke with Variety about the series, saying, \u201c[W]e\u2019ve told [Hawley] that, assuming, as we hope, Alien: Earth is a returning television series, we want him to focus on at least writing two seasons of it before returning to a possible sixth season of Fargo.\u201d<\/p>\n It would seem that FX has all but confirmed a second season.
