And if anything, I think the theme to me is forgiveness.”<\/p>\n To that, Bush Hager added, “I long for a country where, and I feel like we can get back there, but where people that have different opinions sit at the same table and have conversations. We don’t have to agree, you know what I mean? But we don’t have to come at each other’s throats. And I do think that right now it’s almost at, like, a fever pitch.<\/p>\n Jones continued, “A friend of mine used to say, ‘Raise the vocabulary, lower the volume. Let’s all do that.”<\/p>\n To that, Bush Hager said, “By the way, it was as if he read that because that’s exactly what he did. In a beautiful way he said, whatever he said was misunderstood.
