Nathan is alive and well during the September 24, 2025 episode of General Hospital<\/em>\u2026but is it seven years too late?<\/p>\n After Nathan (Ryan Paevey) woke up at GH to Nina (Cynthia Watros) by his side, he silently processed his surroundings while Nina ran to get Anna (Finola Hughes). As soon as Anna walked in, he greeted his former boss, confirming to them both that he was, in fact, the previously deceased Nathan.<\/p>\n When Anna asked him what the last thing he remembered was, he revealed it was being shot by Faison (Anders Hove). But when he checked his wound and noticed he was fully healed, he frantically asked what was going on.<\/p>\n Anna and Nina had to break the news to him that he \u201cdied\u201d seven years ago, and the first thing he said was that he wanted to see Maxie (Kirsten Storms). That led to them revealing that Maxie had recently suffered a health ailment and was in a hospital in Boston, but that their little boy was doing well.<\/p>\n While it\u2019s obviously bad timing for Nathan to return from the dead while Maxie is away in a coma, she\u2019s not the only reason his return is too late.<\/p>\n James (Gary James Fuller) never knew his father, born a few months after his \u201cdeath.\u201d He was raised primarily by Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), but in recent years, has formed an adorable friendship with Cody (Josh Kelly). Everyone\u2019s favorite cowboy has been there for James during the toughest of times, while also acting as a friend and horseback riding teacher.
