In the season of over a dozen designer debuts,<\/a> it\u2019s important to stand out. That\u2019s why, for Demna\u2019s<\/a> first collection, Gucci<\/a> forwent a traditional runway show and instead opted for something a little more glamorous. On Tuesday evening in Milan, the house effectively staged a premiere for the short film The Tiger, directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn. The video stars a suite of Hollywood favorites, including Demi Moore<\/a>, Elliot Page, Keke Palmer<\/a>, Edward Norton, and more.<\/p>\n

Though there was no catwalk, models\u2014including Alex Consani<\/a> and Lila Moss\u2014walked the red carpet wearing the clothes that guests were about to see on the silver screen. Others, such as model and actress Delilah Belle, attended dressed to the nines in head-to-toe Gucci, ready to take in the house\u2019s new era. \u201cI\u2019m mostly just excited that it\u2019s Demna\u2019s first [collection],\u201d Delilah Belle tells ELLE. \u201cI honestly can\u2019t wait to see what he does with it.\u201d The model sported a burgundy velvet bodysuit paired with a low-slung transparent sequined skirt and a Horsebit necklace\u2014the perfect glamorous juxtaposition for the runway-cum-carpet-premiere.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the lookbook for the pieces<\/a>, titled \u201cLa Famiglia,\u201d officially dropped a day prior to the start of Milan Fashion Week and gave a perfect teaser of the cast of characters to come. The rollout comes on a tight schedule, too\u2014this collection is expected to hit stores almost immediately in an unexpected see-now-buy-now format.<\/p>\n

Demna has always played with archetypes\u2014whether in the beginning at Vetements or during his tenure at Balenciaga<\/a>. Now, these humorous personas give us a Rolodex filled with what to expect come his official fall\/winter 2026 runway debut.<\/p>\n
