Back in July, Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/a> was acquitted\u00a0of\u00a0racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking\u00a0charges<\/a>, but he was convicted of\u00a0transportation to engage in prostitution\u00a0charges. Judge Arun Subramanian will sentence Combs on October 3.<\/p>\n Ahead of Combs\u2019 sentencing in his federal sex-crimes trial<\/a>, several of his famous friends are supporting him. One of those celebrities is Yung Miami<\/a>, one-half of City Girls. She is also a former girlfriend of the disgraced hip-hop mogul.<\/p>\n In a letter supporting Combs, Yung Miami referred to him as a \u201cloving, genuine, supportive, and always encouraging\u201d person, noting that the 55-year-old \u201cbelongs at home, with his family.\u201d She also called him a \u201cgood man.\u201d<\/p>\n Yung Miami, who dated Combs from approximately 2021 to 2023, wrote that she \u201ccannot speak on or defend anything that may have happened\u201d when they met each other. She did, however, credit him for helping her grow \u201cboth personally and professionally.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe helped me find balance between chasing my dreams and being present for my family, because that\u2019s what he did \u2014 no matter how busy he was, he never missed holidays or special moments with his family,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old rapper also praised Diddy for opening doors for Black people in the entertainment industry, as well as seeking therapy.<\/p>\n \u201cHe made the choice to check himself into anger management, start therapy, and commit to physical healing through therapy,\u201d her letter stated. \u201cThat takes strength, humility, and self-awareness.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans of Yung Miami took to social media to criticize her letter.<\/p>\n One fan wrote on X<\/a>, \u201cYung Miami makes music glorifying getting money at any cost she is living the type of ethos that were always in her work. A lot of rappers glorify exploitative behavior and exploit people in real life. There needs to be a serious conversation about this.\u201d<\/p>\n Another person wrote, \u201cWhy are folks surprised about Yung Miami\u2019s support for the Diddler?
