If I say the first part, you gotta finish the second part,\u201d he made clear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOld MacDonald Had a Farm\u2026\u201d which the Kelce brothers responded to the rest of the nursery rhyme \u201cE-I-E-I-O.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cE-I-O,\u201d Sanders repeated, which became the origin of the name in which everyone was known to spell his name thus far, \u201cSo it was \u2018D-E-I-O-N.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The two-time Super Bowl champion then confirmed that that was where he got the new spelling of his name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got it from Old MacDonald!\u201d he emphasized. \u201cOn my birth certificate, it&#8217;s D-I-O-N, but I&#8217;ve always spelled it D-E-I-O-N.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The brothers were amazed by the revelation which Jason complimented Sanders: \u201cYou know how bad you gotta be to just change your name and people just go along with it?\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Deion Sanders reveals bladder cancer diagnosis<\/h2>\n<p>Sanders&#8217; name spelling was not the most recent shocking news that he&#8217;s shared in the past few months as he revealed back in July that he quietly <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/ncaa-football\/colorado-football-news-deion-sanders-breaks-silence-health-issue\">battled bladder cancer.<\/a> He revealed the news in a press conference and is using his platform to uplift others to stay up to date on their medical exams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGet checked out, get checked out,\u201d Sanders said during the press conference. \u201cIt could have been a whole other kind of gathering if I didn&#8217;t. \u2026 Everyone knows someone who is affected or infected by the \u2018C&#8217; word.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Deion Sanders addresses health issues, reveals he is now cancer free [FULL PRESS CONFERENCE]\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lasjH5gWMn4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>During the press conference, Dr. Janet Kukreja, who is the director of urological oncology at University of Colorado Cancer Center, shared that he no longer has cancer following his bladder cancer surgery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am pleased to report that the results from the surgeries are that he is cured from the cancer,\u201d Kukreja, told the press.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 23 the football coach got <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/celebrity\/deion-sanders-vulnerable-aftermath-bladder-cancer-surgery\">vulnerable about the aftermath of the surgery<\/a> with Good Morning America.<\/p>\n<p>Sanders shared that <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goodmorningamerica.com\/video\/125845214\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he was \u201con the ground in the bathroom\u201d\u00a0<\/a>after the surgery and was \u00a0\u201cscreaming because it was so much pain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the physical pain, Sanders has kept his head high and is in positive spirts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI choose to rise up and not to stay down. I choose to share,\u201d he said. \u201cI want everybody to understand you can make it. We&#8217;ve all got something to fight. Who out there isn&#8217;t fighting something? It may not be cancer, but it&#8217;s something. But you will overcome.
