An iconic horror movie franchise is being added to HBO Max<\/a><\/strong> just in time for Halloween.<\/p>\n As Halloween begins to approach closer and closer, HBO Max has announced that a large number of the A Nightmare on Elm Street<\/a> movies will be available to watch on the streaming service one week from today.<\/p>\n Wes Craven<\/a>\u2019s A Nightmare on Elm Street, which was released in 1984, will be available to stream on HBO Max on October 1, 2025. That movie introduced the world to Robert Englund<\/a>\u2019s Freddy Krueger, while Heather Langenkamp<\/a>, Johnny Depp, Ronee Blakley, and John Saxon also star.<\/p>\n A number of the sequels are also coming to the platform on the same day, including 1985\u2019s A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy\u2019s Revenge, 1987\u2019s A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors<\/a>, 1988\u2019s A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master<\/a>, 1989\u2019s A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, and 2003\u2019s Freddy vs. Jason<\/a>.<\/p>\n Only three movies that are a part of the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise are missing from this list: 1991\u2019s Freddy\u2019s Dead: The Final Nightmare, 1994\u2019s Wes Craven\u2019s New Nightmare, and 2010\u2019s A Nightmare on Elm Street, the latter of which is a remake directed by Samuel Bayer and produced by Michael Bay that stars Jackie Earle Haley<\/a> as Freddy Krueger.<\/p>\n At the time of this article\u2019s publication, however, the 2010 version of A Nightmare on Elm Street is already available to stream on HBO Max, meaning subscribers can check out that movie right now if they choose to do so.<\/p>\n Wes Craven\u2019s New Nightmare and Freddy\u2019s Dead: The Final Nightmare, meanwhile, are both currently available to stream on AMC+.
