\n Chastain\u2019s post comes a day after Jimmy Kimmel returned to late night television<\/a> following his show being pulled by parent company Disney in the midst of backlash and government pressure over comments he had made during his monologue after Kirk\u2019s death in reference to Kirk\u2019s suspected killer.\n <\/p>\n\n Kimmel\u2019s preemption on various ABC affiliates owned by Nexstar and Sinclair led to the beginnings of a significant boycott of Disney and many of its subsidiaries, including Hulu.\n <\/p>\n
\n Chastain concluded her statement by sharing that \u201cwhile I respect Apple\u2019s decision to pause the release for now, I remain hopeful the show will reach audiences soon. Until then, I\u2019m wishing safety and strength for everyone, and I\u2019ll let you know if and when \u2018The Savant\u2019 is released.\u201d\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
