Former Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant is releasing a new album this week.<\/p>\n
Plant\u2019s \u201cSaving Grace\u201d is set to be released<\/a> on Friday, Sept. 26. The album marks his first full-length studio album release in eight years.<\/p>\n The record will feature singer Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown, who make up the lineup of Plant\u2019s backing band, Saving Grace, for whom the album is named after, according to Ultimate Classic Rock<\/a>.<\/p>\n Plant first began working on the album during the COVID-19 lockdown, when he \u201cconnected closely to this diverse group of musicians,\u201d according to his official Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mixing folk and blues, the album\u2019s lineup of songs includes a cover of \u201cEverybody\u2019s Song\u201d by Low.<\/p>\n Plant released \u201cEverybody\u2019s Song,\u201d along with two more songs from the lineup, \u201cChevrolet\u201d and \u201cGospel Plough,\u201d on Sept. 4 in anticipation of the album.<\/p>\n \u201cSaving Grace\u201d will be the rock legend\u2019s 12th studio album as a solo musician, after 2017\u2019s \u201cCarry Fire.\u201d Plant also released nine studio albums as a member of Led Zeppelin.<\/p>\n Plant was a member of Led Zeppelin from its founding in 1968 to its dissolution in 1980.
