It should be an epic, it’s gonna be two, two and a half hours long.” When those plans fell through, the creative team adapted the project into “four chapters in a book.” He added that while the shorter format worked, “it would have been awesome if we had more time to make each installment a little bit longer, just so we could milk those quiet moments.”

The director emphasized that the choice was not creative but logistical. “We thought, ‘Well, let’s make it a movie,’” he explained. “But, there were contractual issues because of Spider-Man in it. So, there are Sony rules that come into play. We were like, ‘Oh s–t, that’s a thing? Oh no, okay, I guess we can’t do that.’” This decision shaped the structure of the series into concise, fast-paced episodes.

Despite the constraints, Andrews and Marvel Animation laid the groundwork for future stories. He said there was “so much material” left untold and revealed, “Brad [Winderbaum] and I already know how the next one would start already.” Their original concept leaned toward a medieval fantasy setting, but they scaled it back to keep familiar characters recognizable. He suggested that strong fan response could push Marvel to provide more time and resources for a potential second season.

‘ The preceding article may include information circulated by third parties ’

‘ Some details of this article were extracted from the following source www.yahoo.com ’

Bryan Andrews recently explained why Marvel Zombies debuted with only four episodes on Disney+.
