20th Century Studios<\/a> has released a new trailer for \u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash<\/a>,\u201d the third film in James Cameron<\/a>\u2019s \u201cAvatar<\/a>\u201d series, which is set to release on Dec. 19. The trailer shows the return of Jake Sully<\/a> (Sam Worthington<\/a>) and his family, this time at war with an enemy Na\u2019vi tribe on Pandora.<\/p>\n

Alongside Worthington, Zoe Salda\u00f1a<\/a>, Sigourney Weaver<\/a>, Stephen Lang<\/a>, Kate Winslet<\/a>, Bailey Bass<\/a>, Britain Dalton<\/a>, Trinity Bliss<\/a>, Jack Champion<\/a> and Edie Falco<\/a> are among the returning cast members. Meanwhile, Michelle Yeoh<\/a>, Oona Chaplin<\/a> and David Thewlis<\/a> will make their debut in the series as new characters.<\/p>\n

The first \u201cAvatar<\/a>\u201d released in 2009 and became the highest grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office. It still holds that record, with a lifetime gross of over $2.9 billion.
