Cardi B<\/span> <\/strong>has addressed the rumors that she was a music industry plant. The rapper laughed off claims in a recent interview that \u201chigher-ups\u201d in the industry sent her to destroy someone\u2019s career. And given the years of bickering, we can probably assume she was referring to Nicki Minaj<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n Cardi B spoke to Alex Cooper on Wednesday\u2019s episode of Call Her Daddy. During the podcast, she responded to the years-long gossip that \u201chigher-ups\u201d in the music industry planted her to disrupt the hip hop scene.<\/p>\n \u201cPeople have made this whole story that I came in the industry to take over somebody\u2019s career. I never thought about that\u2026 I just wanted to become famous at what I like to do.\u201d<\/p>\n The rapper then seemingly referred to the beef between her and Nicki Minaj. She added: \u201cSometimes people just don\u2019t get along with each other\u201d.<\/p>\n Cardi may have avoided the specifics of her beef with Nicki during the interview, but she had plenty of other TMI snippets for us. She revealed that the butt piercing she got earlier this year <\/a>cost $13,000. And that cash went right down the crapper \u2013 literally \u2013 as she lost the diamond stud down the toilet.<\/p>\n She also addressed other rumors, including one that her boyfriend left her because her \u201cBBL stink\u201d. In true Cardi style, she didn\u2019t hold back on shutting the gossip down. She said: \u201cthe way this ass getting eaten, it can\u2019t be. I\u2019m very anal about how I smell.\u201d<\/p>\n Cardi also took on a dare to prank call a fellow celeb during the interview. She chose to call Lizzo<\/span>, and putting the singer on speaker phone, asked for her help to make a clean version of a raunchy lyric.
