Ed Sheeran<\/strong> and Taylor Swift<\/strong> have been friends for more than a decade, but the \u201cPerfect\u201d singer had to hear about her engagement<\/a> to Travis Kelce<\/strong> like the rest of her fans \u2013 on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Sheeran, 34, confirmed that Swift, 35, did not personally reach out, or even send a DM, after getting engaged to the tight end, also 35, during a Wednesday, September 24, interview with Andy Cohen<\/a> before his SiriusXM\u2019s Small Stage Series concert in New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cInstagram,\u201d Sheeran replied when Cohen, 57, asked him how he learned of the news.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou didn\u2019t even get a DM in advance?\u201d the Bravo host responded, to which Sheeran answered, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to being left in the dark on her engagement, the Grammy Award winner also revealed that he has yet to receive a Save the Date.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s unclear when Swift and Kelce plan to tie the knot, traditionally, Save the Dates are sent out to wedding guests six months before the big day. With the Kansas City Chiefs star<\/a> in the midst of his NFL season \u2013 which runs through February, if the team makes it to the Super Bowl \u2013 there is still a chance Sheeran could be invited to the wedding of the century.<\/p>\n

Aside from the wedding, Sheeran \u2014 who has collaborated with Swift on multiple tracks, including \u201cEverything Has Changed\u201d \u2014 has yet to hear her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl. Swift\u2019s 12th studio album is set to release on Friday, October 3.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
