New York City subway riders may hear a familiar voice in stations all across the city over the next few months.<\/p>\n
Rapper Cardi B, who recently announced her\u00a0Little Miss Drama Tour<\/a>, has recorded several public service announcements for the city’s Metro Transportation Authority. Three different announcements will rotate across stations systemwide, an MTA spokesperson said, but you won’t be able to hear them on the trains themselves.<\/p>\n Here’s what to know.<\/p>\n Cardi B teamed up with New York\u2019s Metro Transportation Authority to record PSAs that\u2019ll be played in subway stations.<\/p>\n Cardi B, known for hits like “Bodak Yellow,” “I Like It,” “Please Me,” “WAP” and “Up” was born Belcalis Marlenis Alm\u00e1nzar in New York City.<\/p>\n The 32-year-old rapper’s upcoming tour<\/a>, which kicks off in February,\u00a0includes a stop at Madison Square Garden in March.<\/p>\n Outside of the tour announcement, Cardi B has made headlines in recent weeks for her pregnancy with former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs<\/a>. The rapper was also recently found not liable in a\u00a0civil lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0that charged her with assault filed in California by a former security guard.<\/p>\n According to a video posted by the MTA on X on Sept. 23, Cardi B will be sharing the following messages:<\/p>\n “We’re walking here! Steps are for stepping, not sitting. Move it, bucko!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n “These trains don’t move without you, so make sure you pay that fare and keep it real. Stop subway surfing!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n “Ride safe, keep it cute and keep it moving. Okurrr!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n For the next few months, the MTA says.
