Gerard Butler<\/a> and Morena Baccarin<\/a> post-apocalyptic saga continues in the trailer for Greenland 2: Migration.<\/p>\n The first footage of the sequel to the 2020 disaster movie Greenland debuted on Thursday, Sept. 25, showing Butler, 55, and Baccarin, 46, back as John and Allison Garrity.<\/p>\n Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, the new installment follows the Garrity family as they emerge from the Greenland bunker after a comet crashed into Earth, now forced to “traverse a shattered world in search of a new home,” according to a synopsis.<\/p>\n In August 2025, Baccarin told Collider<\/a> that she considers Greenland 2 the “hardest shoot of my life,” explaining, “Not the easiest, not the most fun. A really difficult experience. We were outside a lot. We shot in London and we shot in Iceland.
