Third time is the charm for singer Jessica Sanchez, who went from being a runner-up on “American Idol” to champion of “America’s Got Talent” on Wednesday, Sept. 24.<\/p>\n
Ten years ago, Sanchez finished runner-up on season 11 of “American Idol” when she was 16 years old. The following year, she released her album, “Me, You & the Music” in 2013.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old first competed on AGT during its first season when she was 10 years old.<\/p>\n
The California native was named the winner of “America’s Got Talent” following the fan vote for season 20. She won both the title and a whopping $1 million prize.<\/p>\n
Sanchez, who is nine months pregnant, was visibly emotional upon the big announcement.<\/p>\n
