After more than a decade, \u201cSpartacus<\/a>\u201d is back.<\/p>\n

Fans of the original Starz<\/a> historical epic can rejoice in a new look at \u201cSpartacus: House of Ashur<\/a>,\u201d dropped Thursday. Original series creator Steven DeKnight<\/a> returns as showrunner for this sequel series, which will have a two-episode Starz premiere on Dec. 5.<\/p>\n

Leading this revival series is Nick E. Tarabay<\/a>, who reprises his role of Ashur from the first three season of \u201cSpartacus<\/a>,\u201d which took place in the early 2010s.<\/p>\n

Though Tarabay\u2019s character notably died by beheading in Season 3 of the original series (titled \u201cSpartacus: Vengeance<\/a>\u201d), this follow-up series imagines an alternate set of events.<\/p>\n
