The debut edition of Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights went down in the woods of NorCal this past July 18-20, and we\u2019ve got sonic proof.<\/p>\n

More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n Other performers for Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights 2025 included headliners Zeds Dead, Jungle, Aluna, Justin Martin, Levity and Walker & Royce. The fest happened along the shore of the Eel River and featured loads of daytime activities along with the music by night.<\/p>\n It marked the first collaborative event from the longstanding Northern Nights festival and the Dirtybird events brand, which launched in 2015 and was acquired by<\/a> EMPIRE following the San Francisco-based label\u2019s 2022 acquisition of the Dirtybird label.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the label was undergoing a leadership change under EMPIRE, it was important for us to take a step back and plan for the next evolution of the brand and the fan experience,\u201d Jones told Billboard upon the festival\u2019s announcement. \u201cWe knew we had to bring it back, and we know how much the fans have missed it, so it was a matter of timing it right.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFrom our very first conversation it was clear that we shared a deep connection within the same music community,\u201d added Northern Nights co-founder Andrew Borgelt. \u201cThroughout the process, both teams remained aligned on a shared vision \u2014 ensuring that each brand\u2019s voice was authentically represented while seamlessly merging the essence of both festivals.\u201d<\/p>\n Best of Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n Sign up for Billboard’s Newsletter<\/a>.
