Pete Davidson<\/strong> is pushing back on what he sees as a familiar pattern in Hollywood<\/a>.<\/p>\n During a conversation with host Theo Von<\/strong> on the September 23 episode of his This Past Weekend<\/em><\/a> podcast, Davidson discussed the rapid shifts in public perception, pointing to Pedro Pascal<\/strong>, who he says is now dealing with the flip side of fame.<\/p>\n \u201cThey can\u2019t wait, right?\u201d said Davidson. \u201cF**king two years ago, he\u2019s a hardworking, great actor. But everyone was like, \u2018He\u2019s worked so hard and has been a struggling actor.\u2019 F**kng blows up so f**King hard. Everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Daddy, daddy! Yeah, daddy, daddy.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThen a year later, he\u2019s, like, in everything now \u2019cause he\u2019s hot and big,\u201d the comedian continued, \u201cand everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Go the f**k away, dude.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Davidson, 31, noted how Pascal, 50, has been \u201cbanging at it for 30 years\u201d and is only now learning to navigate fame on such a massive scale. \u201cYou got to give that guy a f**king second to, like, adjust,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n The Saturday Night Live<\/em> alum\u2019s<\/a> comments come as Pascal continues to dominate headlines. Dubbed \u201cThe Summer of Pedro,\u201d the Chilean-born actor recently starred in multiple projects, including his final appearance in season 2 of The Last of Us<\/em>, Ari Aster\u2019s<\/strong> film Eddington<\/em>, and Materialists<\/em> alongside Dakota Johnson<\/strong><\/a> and Chris Evans<\/strong>. Pascal also made his Marvel debut as Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps<\/em> and will reprise the role in Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>.<\/p>\n Davidson warned that Pascal\u2019s situation is not unique.
