M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce frontman Vince Neil recently spoke with Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM\u2019s Trunk Nation. During the conversation, he opens up about his recent health issues, revealing he had multiple strokes, with the latest sidelining the band for much of 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve had four strokes,\u201d Neil tells Trunk. \u201cYou know, two of them I didn\u2019t even know I had. One of them was like a mini stroke that happened, and I just lost feeling in my hand, and that was it. And I got over that pretty quickly, other than this last one was a big one.\u201d<\/p>\n
He says he didn\u2019t even know he had other strokes.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause they can see it in your brain,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s scarred just right around the same spot where I had four scars in my brain at the neurologist. Those are all strokes. I can\u2019t remember any other time I felt weird or something, you know, they just must have just happened and just, I got over it, you know, didn\u2019t even know it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Neil recently revealed that he suffered a major stroke<\/a> on Christmas night of 2024 that forced M\u00f6tley to postpone its Las Vegas residency<\/a> by six months.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was Christmas night, and I went to sleep. I woke up and I couldn\u2019t get out of bed. I\u2019m like, \u2018What\u2019s going on?\u2019 And my left leg wouldn\u2019t work, and my left arm wouldn\u2019t work. And so I had to get helped out of bed. I couldn\u2019t push myself up to get myself comfortable in bed. And I had to have help, and I slowly, slowly but surely, the sensation came back in my legs, and I had to learn to walk again,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n Initially, it was announced that Neil had to undergo a \u201crequired medical procedure<\/a>\u201d as he recovered.<\/p>\n \u201cI went from a wheelchair to a walker, to a cane, to now I can walk,\u201d he states. \u201cBut for five months, it was just off and on, not knowing what\u2019s gonna happen. And the doctor said that I probably wouldn\u2019t be on stage again. And I was like, \u2018Oh man, I can\u2019t do that.\u2019 And so I just tried, I worked my butt off to get back in shape to go on stage. And I was really sad to have to cancel those shows. But I just wasn\u2019t ready yet. I wasn\u2019t ready to be back on stage yet. It was really sad. But now it\u2019s really worth it because I can get on stage and sing and have all that good stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n Neil returned to the stage in August<\/a> with his solo band, with many fans noticing his sluggish appearance in videos. The performance was Neil\u2019s first since last October, when he and M\u00f6tley headlined Aftershock in Sacramento. Neil revealed that he canceled the other solo gigs this summer to focus on giving his all to the M\u00f6tley residency, which wraps next week.<\/p>\n The ten-run residency was moved to the fall, with the group headlining Park MGM through October 3rd. Off the heels of the historic H\u00f6llywood Take\u00f6ver<\/a> club shows at the iconic Whisky A Go Go, Roxy, and Troubadour in Los Angeles last fall, the Cr\u00fce is excited to bring an unforgettable night and inimitable new show with many surprises to fans for the residency \u2014 From The Sunset Strip, To The Las Vegas Strip. The legendary band that pioneered the Las Vegas rock residency over a decade ago is excited to return to the city following their two previous sold-out runs: M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce Takes On Sin City in 2012 and Evening In Hell in 2013.<\/p>\n Last week, the band released its new career-spanning collection. From The Beginning<\/em><\/a> features four decades of iconic anthems, including a duet version of \u201cHome Sweet Home\u201d with Dolly Parton, which recently topped the radio charts<\/a>.<\/p>\n During his interview with Trunk, Neil gave an update on what\u2019s ahead for M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce.<\/p>\n \u201cM\u00f6tley\u2019s, M\u00f6tley,\u201d he states. \u201cIt\u2019s a great band and we have a lot of stuff in us, left in us, and hopefully we\u2019re gonna go out after this. I just haven\u2019t heard anybody putting anything together yet, or nothing?
